The Edgecombe Board of Elections is gearing up for this elections season. The Primary Election will be May 8th and the General Election will be November 6th. To get all the information you need, go to the Board of Elections Page.
Edgecombe and Nash Counties along with the City of Rocky Mount are leading an effort to develop a Vision and Strategic Plan for the Twin County Region. The Twin Counties Visioning and Strategic Plan Process is an opportunity for residents and community leaders to develop a road map for transforming the Two County region into a sustainable community that is prepared to participate in the new world economy. Free Tarps to Cover Your Load
Edgecombe Solid Waste and Keep America Beautiful will kick off their Tarp Awareness Program by offering free tarps to cover your loads. Covering your load is not only the smart thing to do to prevent trash and debris from blowing out and littering our county, but it's also the law. To learn more, download the Free Tarp Flyer.

The Edgecombe County Board of Commissioners is looking for citizens who are willing to lend their time and talents to various boards and commissions. This is a great way to serve your community in areas where you may have interest and/or experience.
There are currently vacancies on the following boards and commissions: City of Rocky Mount Board of Adjustment; Human Relations Commission; Council on Aging; City of Rocky Mount Planning and Zoning Commission; and the Edgecombe County Board of Adjustment.
