FY 2023 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
Notice is hereby given that the City of Rocky Mount and the Down East HOME Consortium have prepared their 2023 Annual Action Plan,
which lists the proposed projects for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) programs.
For FY 2023, which begins July 1, 2023, Rocky Mount expects to receive CDBG funds in the amount of $536,901. The Consortium expects to receive HOME funds in the amount of $464,399.
In order to obtain the views of citizens, public agencies and other interested parties, the Plan will be on display for 30 days beginning May 10, 2023, at the following locations:

All interested citizens are encouraged to attend one or both the public hearings and they will be given the opportunity to present

Comments must be received no later than June 10, 2023, to be considered in the Plan.
The Rocky Mount City Council will take up this matter for consideration at its regular meeting scheduled for June 12, 2023, at 7:00 pm in City Council Chambers, 331 S. Franklin Street, Rocky Mount. The FY 2023 Annual Action Plan is scheduled to be submitted to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or before June 16, 2023.
