Animal Services’ daily operations are overseen by the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office. The Animal Services officers patrol the county Monday through Friday and are on call nights, weekends, and holidays to respond to emergency animal calls.

The Animal Shelter is located behind the old Edgecombe County Health Department at 2909 N Main St. in Tarboro.
