EMS Manager
Chad Eason
Mr. Eason bring years of experience as he has been around EMS all of his life. He is a resident of Edgecombe County and served as interim chief of the rescue squad for a number of years before the merger. He currently oversees and is responsible for all EMS operations in Edgecombe County.

Community Paramedic Program Manager / Logistics Officer
Dalton Barrett
Capt. Barrett, a graduate of Western Carolina University and a Nash County local is primarily responsible for the creation and oversight of the Edgecombe County Community Paramedic Program. His other duties include purchasing of medical supplies and equipment and coordinating repairs / servicing of medical equipment.

A-Shift Supervisor / Recruitment & Onboarding
Sarah Lewis
Capt S. Lewis is an Edgecombe County native and worked with ECRS for a number of years before the merger. She is responsible for the oversight of the recruitment process for potential new hires and the coordination of new employees through the initial onboarding phase. She also manages daily operations on A-Shift.

B-Shift Supervisor / Fleet Manager
Harvey Johnson
Capt Johnson is a lifelong native of Edgecombe County and an avid fisherman. His primary responsibilities include fleet management and coordination of vehicle maintenance and repairs. He also manages daily operations of B-shift.

C-Shift Supervisor / Compliance & Education
Chris Exum
Capt Exum first was involved in the field of public safety through the lens of law enforcement. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He leads our quality assurance and quality improvement program and oversees the educational needs of the department. He also is responsible for data collection, analysis, policy recommendation, and reporting. He also manages the daily operations for C-shift.

D-Shift Supervisor / Uniform Procurement
Joshua Lewis
Capt J. Lewis is also a resident of Edgecombe County. He served also with ECRS and holds an associates degree. He has been in the prehospital field since 2014. He ensures that our staff look professional by designing, ordering, and distributing uniform items. He also manages the daily operations on D-Shift.
EMS Billing Specialist
Jaime Warren
EMT Warren, our medical billing specialist has been living in and around Edgecombe County for 25+ years. Her primary responsibilities include maintaining professional relationship and serving as our liaison with our billing company and other stakeholders in the area. She serves as our EMS billing point of contact for insurance companies, local assisted living facilities, etc.
