EZ-IO Vascular Access System

In an emergency setting, it is ideal to be able to establish intravenous access in order to administer life-saving medications and fluids as fast as possible. Sometimes the patient may not have a suitable vein to use traditional IV catheters and these life -saving medications could be delayed. We are able to use the EZ-IO system and establish safe and effective venous access in the patient's bone marrow so that the patient can receive the treatment they need  despite having a suitable vein or not.

Pak2P - IV Fluid Warmer

This IV fluid warmer box allows  our advanced level EMS professionals administer IV fluids more comfortably to a patient as the fluids are closer to normal body temperature. It also allows these professionals to aggressively treat hypothermia, which is a life threatening condition from a drop in body temperature usually from prolonged exposure in the cold.  It also is beneficial to patients in shock, burn patients, pediatric emergencies, and geriatric care.

LifePak 15 Cardiac Monitors

This piece of equipment allows our EMS professionals to obtain12-Lead ECG tracing, non-invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, capnography, and carboxyhemoglobin values. We can send this data from the portable monitors to the hospital when necessary to mobilize an interventional cardiologist and heart catheterization team prior to reaching a PCI capable facility. We also use the technology for administering therapeutic electricity in the form of transcutaneous pacing, external defibrillation, and synchronized cardioversion.

CradlePoint Internet Capability
On large emergency scenes it may be necessary to set up fast and secure internet service to effectively communicate, problem solve, and monitor an event. These routers are located in the EMS supervisor vehicles and can be utilized by emergency personnel on-scene.

Summit Doppler LifeDop 250
Dopplers are one of the smallest pieces of equipment on this list but often times, one of the most helpful. These devices allow our professionals to detect a heart tone in an injured extremity or when trying to determine if a patient has been successfully resuscitated from a cardiac arrest event.
