Still Time to Apply for Hazard Mitigation Grant

If your home was affected by Hurricane Matthew, there is still time to apply for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). You may be considered for elevation of your home, having your home reconstructed and then elevated, or having your home bought out. The deadline to get your application for this second round is April 21st. 

There is no guarantee that your application will be approved, not that funding will be allocated to the State for this second round. However, to be considered, you must complete an application.
