• Provides extended counseling and education for high-risk and HIV positive populations.

  • Provide outreach at local barbershops to patrons

• CCHC’s Offers the following services:
  • Perform assessments of child care facilities and practices, focusing on health, safety and dietary management.
  • Review child health records and, when appropriate, assist in assuring compliance with state requirements for age-appropriate childhood immunizations.
  • Link children, families and child care providers with community resources.
  • Provide education, training and support to providers, families and children.
  • Offer support, guidance and technical assistance in developing, implementing and monitoring health, safety and nutrition policies and practices.
  • Assist child care providers and parents in developing and following a plan of care for children with special health needs or concerns.
  • Answer questions and offer guidance in the prevention and control of infectious illnesses.
