The Training Division consists of a Sergeant who coordinates with the different divisions of the Sheriff's Office to ensure that all employees meet state training requirements.

In addition to meeting all the in-service training requirements, the Training Division also provides a Detention Officer Certification Course.  The training is conducted at the Sheriff's Office Training Center/Firing Range  in Pinetops, NC.
