Animal Services

About us 
Animal Services consists of three animal control officers who patrol Edgecombe County and respond to calls from citizens dealing with domesticated animals. Animal Services’ daily operations are overseen by the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office. The Animal Services officers patrol the county Monday through Friday and are on call nights, weekends, and holidays to respond to emergency animal calls.


The Animal Shelter is located behind the old Edgecombe County Health Department at 2909 N Main St. in Tarboro.
